Supermarket Studio is a multidisciplinary venture. A store, a design studio, an installation, a happening, a workshop - a “whatever”. We never completely define our boundaries to allow room for growth and change. The ongoing common denominator is exploration of interesting concepts. The overriding goal: to share good design.

Supermarket Studio designs all our pieces in Vancouver, Canada and works with artisans in India to produce handmade goods. We scour the rest of the globe for articles of interest - exuding principles of good design, practicality, humour and endearment. We celebrate Supermarkets, Mom & Pops and Corner Stores around the world.
